If you want a green SUV, look at the Ford Escape hybrid or Toyota Highlander hybrid. At least they get decent fuel efficiency - not great but around 30 mpg. BMW has not said what they will use it in yet. GM, Chrysler, and BMW designed this system together. It may also go into smaller FWD SUV's, minivans, and the LX platform cars.
